Salary: £23,000 (PTE 28 hours)

The New Beginnings Foundation was founded in partnership with Stockport Local Authority in May 2018. The New Beginnings vision is to break the cycle of intergenerational abuse by working holistically with families who are known to Children’s Social Care. An intrinsic part of New Beginnings practice is to deepen parents’ understanding of who they are through an attachment and trauma informed approach. This method is rooted in the recognition that if positive change is to occur, then individuals need to have a safe space to share their perspectives on what has happened and how they can effect change for the benefit of them and their children.

New Beginnings became a registered charity (1198338) in March 2022 and is now looking to expand its team to support the next steps of its journey. We are looking to recruit a Senior Post Programme Support Worker to enhance our team of experienced practitioners. 

 

This would be a great opportunity for someone who has experience in supporting others, is passionate about working in partnership with families and being part of a team that likes to be creative and do things a little bit differently.
